Job summary

TALENT Software Services in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an Automotive Systems Engineer to create, update and track CFOs (Customer Feature Objectives) efficiently and ensure alignment with project objectives and standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to align on a global strategy for new features.

Responsibilities include platform and program-specific feature development support, plus conducting competitive benchmarking and voice-of-customer clinics to guide development.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 3–5 years automotive experience.
• Able to communicate technical content to non-technical audiences.
• Strong project coordination skills.
• Automotive systems background.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262.
• INCOSE requirements decomposition knowledge.
• MS in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of IBM DOORS or similar ALM/PLM tools.
• System engineering experience and network topology diagrams understanding.
• Understand problems across software, hardware and field.
• Knowledge of a functional domain (e.g., Body, Chassis, Electrical).

Responsibilities

• Create, update and track CFOs (Customer Feature Objective) efficiently.
• Conduct thorough analysis to ensure CFOs align with project objectives and standards.
• Work with cross functional teams to develop and follow best practices for a global feature strategy.
• Support platform new feature development.
• Support program-specific new feature development.
• Conducting competitive benchmarking & voice of customer clinics to support the development process.
