Job summary

The Plant General Manager will lead the manufacturing facility, driving operational performance, financial results, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee production, quality, safety, delivery, cost, engineering, and continuous improvement to ensure targets are met.

Successful candidates will be hands-on leaders with a proven track record in automotive manufacturing, strong focus on lean, problem solving, and developing high-performing teams to deliver sustainable improvements in quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven experience leading a complex manufacturing plant or major manufacturing operation.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, productivity, and profitability.
• Working knowledge of automotive quality and launch methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans).
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for plant operations, including production, quality, engineering, maintenance, materials, safety, delivery, and cost performance.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Ensure quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Maintain accountability for ISO standards and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Drive a culture of quality, customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, problem-solving, standard work, and waste reduction.
• Monitor plant performance with KPIs and management systems; drive accountability.
• Oversee annual operating plan, budget, forecasts, and financial performance.
