Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking a Payroll Representative for Aloha Kia Airport, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, to manage all payroll processes. The role requires handling insurance premium collections, reconciliations, employee data entry, and various reporting tasks within a dealership setting.

The position offers competitive hourly pay, PTO, 401k with company match, comprehensive benefits, and a year-end bonus program.

Competenze

• High school diploma required; bookkeeping knowledge preferred.
• 2–4 years of payroll or related experience.
• Knowledge of 10-key and basic accounting software helpful.
• Microsoft Office products experience required.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for all payroll functions within the dealership(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect employee insurance premiums through payroll in a timely manner.
• Reconcile benefit invoices monthly.
• Enter new employees into payroll system and terminate exiting employees.
• Maintain absence reports and employee receivables reports.
• Issue manual/void checks as needed.
• Complete ad hoc reports for Corporate as needed.
• Process and reconcile payroll on a bi-monthly schedule.
• Ensure all payroll deductions are correct.
• Electronic filing of taxes each payday to comply with time restrictions Posting EFT transfers into accounting.
• Reconcile payroll bank accounts monthly.
• Create payroll reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly, miscellaneous) and pay items as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S., have a valid driver license and professional appearance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma and knowledge of bookkeeping procedures is a must.
• The ability to use 10-key and other office equipment, including computer and computer accounting software.
• 2-4 years of previous applicable work experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Inventory Control Software, internet, Microsoft Office Products.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment but must be able to move throughout dealership to collect information.
