Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management with tasks. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, handling cash and credit transactions, and performing daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate the ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask handling store and phone interactions.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow customer service programs and related selling.
• Greet customers and assist in selecting merchandise.
• Assist professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete required training relevant to the position.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts and quote prices.
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges/returns per policy and manage complaints.
• Support daily image maker and planogram updates, stock, and cleaning.
• Perform daily operational tasks including returns to DC and stock counts.
• Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training and approvals.
• Provide in-store services (wipers, batteries, diagnostics, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
