Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Richland, WA is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. You will support store management, greet customers, quote prices, and assist with professional customers as needed, while handling cash and processing transactions.

The role requires excellent customer service, multitasking, and the ability to work with store programs and policies. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, i.e. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customers as needed and directed.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering calls per policy and quoting prices.
• Responsible for cash drawer, accepting payments, making change, and processing credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, freight, stocking, and housekeeping.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
