O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide top-tier service to retail and installer customers in a fast-paced California store. You will greet customers, help them choose merchandise, and support store management in daily tasks, ensuring accurate cash handling and excellent support across touchpoints.

The role emphasizes bilingual capability, premium-based compensation opportunities, and a strong emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists for professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned training relevant to position.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts and quote prices, and upsell items.
• Handle cash, credit transactions, and returns per policy.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Assist with stock, planogram updates, and daily operations.
• Operate store equipment after training and company requirements.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, diagnose issues).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
