Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with daily tasks. The role emphasizes greeting customers, assisting with parts selection, processing sales and returns, and maintaining accurate cash handling.

Candidates with automotive parts familiarity, ASE certification, and multilingual abilities are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification (desirable).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support store management and installer service specialists.
• Answer store phone calls per policy and quote prices.
• Process exchanges/returns and handle payments securely.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with stock updates, planogram changes, and inventory counts.
• Perform in-store services and, when needed, deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
