Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA Store in Iowa seeks a Customer-Facing Store Associate to help customers find automotive parts and solutions, both retail and wholesale. You will engage customers, leverage product knowledge, and support fast-paced store operations in a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and willingness to learn automotive systems. You’ll collaborate with the Store Manager and team, handling transactions and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members.
• Operate POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices.
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow.
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics.
• Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional store environment.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records.
• Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks to optimize store performance.
