Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with advanced knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and store operations. The role requires customer service focus, sales capability, and hands-on DIY service assistance.

You will handle part lookups, inventory tasks, and operate POS systems while ensuring a clean, organized store and high-quality customer experience. ASE is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with fulfillment experience
• Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred
• English speaking & writing; Spanish a plus
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs; follow instructions
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock
• Keep store clean and organized (floors, bathrooms, etc.)
• Provide DIY services such as testing and battery work
