Job summary

Danbury Automotive Group is seeking an Experienced Parts Counterperson to join our team in Danbury, CT. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and a strong focus on accurate parts identification and customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of automotive parts counter experience, a Kia certification is a strong plus, and excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive parts counter experience.
• Kia Certification is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, service advisors, customers, and other team members.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Comfortable using computers and automotive parts catalog system.

Responsibilities

• Assist automotive technicians with identifying and sourcing the correct parts for repairs.
• Handle walk-in retail customers and provide professional, knowledgeable service.
• Look up parts using electronic parts catalogs and manufacturer systems.
• Write and manage parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Service Department and Parts Team to keep repairs moving.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing parts.
• Handle multiple customers, technicians, phone calls, and orders simultaneously.
• Work as part of a team to provide excellent service and maintain an efficient department.
