Job summary

Danbury Automotive Group is seeking an Experienced Parts Counterperson to join a highly-productive shop and provide excellent service to technicians, advisors, and customers. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficient parts identification, and a strong customer focus.

The position requires at least 2 years of automotive parts counter experience with a willingness to work Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:30pm and some Saturdays. Kia certification is a plus, and a team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using computers and automotive parts catalog system.

Responsibilities

• Assist automotive technicians with identifying and sourcing the correct parts for repairs.
• Handle walk-in retail customers and provide professional, knowledgeable service.
• Look up parts using electronic parts catalogs and manufacturer systems.
• Write and manage parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Service Department and Parts Team to keep repairs moving.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing parts.
• Handle multiple customers, technicians, phone calls, and orders simultaneously.
• Work as part of a team to provide excellent service and maintain an efficient department.
