Job summary

Asbury Automotive is seeking an energetic Automotive Parts Counter Associate to help customers find the right parts over the counter, shop, or phone. You will support ordering, pricing alignment, and inventory management while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer and phone skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A degree in automotive technology or military equivalent, plus a valid driver's license, is

Qualifications

• Customer-focused parts counter experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with computers, phones, and basic software.
• Bi-lingual is a plus; driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional manner.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and upsell where appropriate.
• Answer incoming calls and counter inquiries with price quotes and information.
• Pull and fill orders from stock and ensure correct pricing per estimates.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts and back-ordered items.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Support outside sales reps with their orders.
