Founded in Los Angeles in 2017, 412 Motorsport operates as a high-end performance and service facility specializing in modern sports cars, supercars, and luxury vehicles, with an emphasis on Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Brabus, and other high-performance European vehicles. Our work ranges from dealership-level maintenance and advanced diagnostics to major mechanical repairs, performance upgrades, paint protection film, and complete vehicle builds.
We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager / Sales professional who can oversee daily shop operations, manage client relationships, and drive sales across our services and builds. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands the automotive industry, can confidently guide clients through service and customization options, and takes ownership of each job from the initial inquiry through final delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow, job progress, and coordination between technicians, installers, and vendors.
- Handle incoming inquiries, qualify leads, and follow up with prospective and existing clients to close sales.
- Consult with clients on maintenance, repairs, performance upgrades, PPF, and custom builds based on their vehicles, goals, and budgets.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals, explain recommendations, and secure client approval before work begins or scope changes.
- Coordinate parts sourcing, pricing, ordering, and availability to support job schedules.
- Set realistic timelines based on shop capacity, parts availability, and the scope of work.
- Keep clients informed of job progress, changes, additional recommendations, and delivery timelines.
- Track active jobs, identify delays, and resolve issues to keep work moving without sacrificing quality.
- Manage repair orders, client records, invoices, and payment follow-up with accurate documentation.
- Monitor job costs, pricing, and margins to support profitable sales and efficient operations.
- Coordinate final quality-control checks and vehicle delivery with the team to ensure approved work is complete.
- Build long-term client relationships, generate repeat business and referrals, and handle concerns professionally.
- Work directly with ownership to improve shop processes, sales performance, and the overall client experience.
We Are Looking For:
- Professional experience in automotive operations, service management, service advising, or automotive aftermarket sales, required.
- Experience coordinating shop workflow, managing client expectations, and overseeing multiple active jobs.
- Proven ability to follow up on leads, present estimates, close sales, and develop repeat business.
- Experience with exotic, luxury, or high-performance European vehicles, strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of automotive maintenance, repairs, performance modifications, and aftermarket components.
- Familiarity with Brabus, Mansory, Novitec, or other high-end aftermarket and performance brands, preferred.
- Understanding of PPF, paint protection, and vehicle customization services, preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical recommendations clearly and confidently without overpromising results or timelines.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
- Experience using shop management software, client relationship management systems, and estimating or invoicing tools.
- Ability to lead a team, establish priorities, and address problems independently in a busy shop environment.
- Professional judgment and care when working with high-value vehicles and discerning clients.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
