Job summary

Pep Boys and Team Mavis—Union, NJ area—are seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join our service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs to keep customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities include brakes, suspension, oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, diagnostics, and state inspections where applicable. We offer competitive weekly pay with incentives, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience and/or training.
• Must have personal tools necessary to perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of maintenance and repair services.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspension, and steering.
• Do oil changes, replace worn parts, and check fluids.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires; replace parts as needed.
• Complete state inspections where applicable; maintain high safety and quality standards.
