Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles at our Bridgewater, NJ centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles to keep customers safe on the road, with opportunities to grow within the Mavis Tire family.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
