Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our service centers in the Union, NJ area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or training.
• Must have personal tools to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform under-car repairs including brakes, suspensions, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
