Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is actively seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our Paterson, NJ centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road, including brakes, suspensions, tires, and more.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training.
• Must have personal tools to perform automotive repairs.
• Legal work authorization in the United States

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Oil and filter changes and checking fluids.
• Replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Completing state inspections, where applicable.
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
