Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles at our Edison, NJ area service centers. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles, including brake and suspension work, oil changes, and tire services. Join a large national network with weekly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or training.
• Eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
• Must provide personal tools to perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive maintenance and repair services.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspension, and steering components.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires where applicable.
• Complete state inspections where required and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Adhere to Mavis standards for customer service and workmanship.
