Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our team at our Blackwood, NJ area service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities include brakes, diagnostic work, oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, and quality-driven service. We offer competitive weekly pay with incentives, excellent benefits, and career growth opportunities in a large national network.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids.
• Replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Completing state inspections, where applicable.
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
