Join Our Team as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician at Monro, Inc.

Monro, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our team. We are a leading automotive service and tire dealer in the United States, operating nearly 1,300 stores across 32 states. Our mission is to provide high-quality tire and auto services while fostering a people-first culture.

Position Details:

• Pay range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, guaranteed, based on experience; flat rate between $35 and $45.
• Start with comprehensive technician training covering all aspects of the role.
• Perform vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics.
• Work collaboratively to deliver 5-star guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs.
• Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs.
• Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop vehicles for inventory pickup.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8).
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate or degree in automotive technology.
