Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $27.00 per hour, guaranteed based on experience, with flat rate earnings between $28 and $45. Starting day 1, you will undergo comprehensive technician training. As a team member, you will perform repair services, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction, and collaborate with your team to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualification.
• Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis; maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and safely use shop equipment to pick up inventory.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in tool purchase program
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification (A1-A8)
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License
• Technical school certificate or degree
