Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range for this position is between $25.00 and $35.00 per hour guaranteed, based on experience, with flat rates between $35 and $45.00 per hour. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one to prepare you for your responsibilities, which include performing repairs, inspections, and collaborating with team members to ensure excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualification scope.
• Secure guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work environment.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive guest vehicles and use shop resources responsibly.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to other technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8).
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate/degree in automotive technology.
