Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, guaranteed, based on experience, with flat rates between $35 and $45. Starting day 1, you will participate in a comprehensive technician training program to prepare you for your role. As a team member, you will perform vehicle repairs and contribute to delivering a 5-star guest experience, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Secure guest approval for repairs post-diagnosis and maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and use shop resources responsibly.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long hours, lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8.
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate/degree in automotive technology.
