Job Description

The pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $27.00 per hour guaranteed based on experience, with flat rate earnings between $28 and $45.

As an Automotive Technician at Monro, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one to develop your skills and prepare for advancement. Your role is vital in delivering 5-star guest experiences by ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Obtain guest approval before performing work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work environment.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and use shop resources responsibly.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to team members.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
• Ability to work overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification (A1-A8).
• Technical school certificate or degree in automotive technology.
