Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: $15 to $32 per hour. Pay depends on experience and includes potential incentives. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for a successful career as an automotive technician at Monro.

Your role involves performing repair services on guest vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and excellent customer experiences while working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Obtain guest approval after diagnosis and maintain a clean work environment.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and use shop tools safely for inventory pickup.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to other technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program
• Ability to work overhead, stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification (A1-A8)
• State Inspector License
• Technical school certificate/degree
