Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for our Hasbrouck Heights, NJ service centers. This full-time role offers competitive weekly pay, weekly incentives, and benefits as part of the Mavis Tire family.

You will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repair services to keep customers safe on the road, including brakes, suspensions, oil changes, tire work, and more. Growth opportunities and ongoing training are provided within a large automotive network.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspensions, steering components, and related systems.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
