Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time positions at our Hasbrouck Heights, NJ service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to help keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training
• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must bring personal tools to perform automotive and undercar repairs

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
