Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles at our service centers in the Haskell, NJ area. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to keep customers safely on the road and support tire sales.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience.
Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
Replacing worn or damaged parts
Completing state inspections, where applicable
Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service

Skills

Automotive repair experience
