Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, distribution, raw materials, and finished goods shipments.
• Direct preparation and issuance of purchase orders and change notices.
• Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine material availability.
• Review purchase orders and contracts for conformance to policy.
• Design systems to implement purchasing, production scheduling, and inventory control.
• Administer plant purchasing procedures and supplier requirements.
• Develop and implement visual inventory management on the production floor.
• Ensure timely delivery of supplies to support uninterrupted production.
• Improve supplier efficiency and cost savings without disrupting flow.
• Assist in inventory budgets and operating controls.
• Coordinate engineering changes during model year and with suppliers/customers.
