Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Materials Manager to ensure on-time shipment of finished goods, manage freight, and control inventory in Bloomington, IL. The role coordinates purchasing, material distribution, and supplier activities to keep production flowing.

You will design procedures, analyze market conditions, supervise staff, and implement ERP-supported systems to improve inventory accuracy and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the preparation of and issuance of purchase orders and change notices.
• Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine material availability and prepares market analysis reports.
• Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Develops procedures to handle changes in product to coordinate parts and materials with suppliers and customers to ensure timely startup of production.
• Assists Plant Engineering and Plant Quality Manager in the Vendor Quality Assurance Program.
