Responsibilities

• Oversee on-time shipment of finished goods and manage freight.
• Direct purchasing, distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery and supplies.
• Analyze market and delivery conditions for material availability.
• Review purchase orders and contracts for policy conformance.
• Develop systems for purchasing, scheduling, inventory control and traffic.
• Establish plant purchasing procedures aligned with corporate policy.
• Coordinate supplier parts delivery and implement visual inventory on the floor.
• Maintain inventories to ensure material availability for production.
• Improve supplier efficiency to maintain smooth material flow.
• Assist in budgeting and determining inventory levels.
• Handle engineering changes and vendor quality assurance in coordination with Plant Engineering.
