Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group's Volkswagen of Sanford is seeking an Automotive Master Technician. You will diagnose and repair to factory standards, using top equipment in a climate-controlled shop to build customer trust and loyalty through high-quality service.

The role requires a Master Level Certification and at least 3 years of experience, with a willingness to undergo background checks. Join a large, family-owned group with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician.
• Master Level Certification required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Continuously update technical skills through training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep management informed of repair issues as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician required.
• Must have proven track record
• Master Level Certification
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
