Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Master Technician for the Northlake KIA location. The role offers top flat rate hours and a potential pay range of 40.00-50.00 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus up to $3,000.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of Master Technician experience and a focus on accurate diagnoses and quality repairs. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing diverse systems, explaining findings to customers, and maintaining a clean, organized bay while

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician.
• Ability to diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• 18+ years of age to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles per dealer and factory standards.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Continuously update technical skills and stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Located atNorthlake KIA, theMaster Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
