Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of manufacturing environment experience, automotive preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem solving.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; strong documentation skills.
• Experience with process documentation and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause problem-solving methodologies.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, and line transitions.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, efficiency opportunities, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Automation teams to upgrade tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Develop and maintain process flows, standardized work, and training materials.
• Lead problem-solving for scrap, rework, downtime and quality issues.
