Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with engineering tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with databases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for designing and manufacturing fixtures, machines, and tools.
  • Examines plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to ascertain if all safety precautions have been included.
  • Assists in preparing Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports.
  • Facilitates compliance with all OSHA regulations relating to the plant.
  • Assisting in ergonomics programs and plant health and safety initiatives to prevent unsafe working conditions.
  • Conducting plant surveys to assess exposure to hazards like noise, dust, fumes, and radiation.
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management systems, including ISO 14001 standards.
  • Promoting a safety-conscious attitude, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies per company and legal standards.
