VIP Tires & Service in Augusta, ME, seeks a Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) to learn the VIP culture and management processes, preparing to lead a team and ensure safe, compliant operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The program emphasizes hiring and developing a strong team, structuring schedules across all hours, and coordinating training, safety, and program execution to meet VIP standards.

Qualificações

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: strong people management and leadership, excellent verbal and written communication, sound business sense with prioritization and solutions, strong organization and time management skills, comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing.
• Two years related experience in automotive service management; two-year college or technical school program recommended; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license; ASE Certification P2 and G1 recommended; State Inspection License required where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and enforce safety policies and training.
• Learn VIP processes and develop an Extraordinary Team that delivers a superior customer experience.
• Hire associates, develop a superior team, ensure LMS and vendor training, and pursue ASE certifications.
• Properly schedule the team to meet customer needs across all hours of operation.
• Communicate with the team through daily huddles and store meetings; monitor emails for appointments.
• Train, support and deliver the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions and solutions.
• Control dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians per first-available guideline.
• Attend off-site meetings and training sessions as needed, typically several times per year.
• Maintain facility and equipment standards, cleanliness, and readiness before opening and after close.
