Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) in Vermont to lead a team and learn VIP management processes. The role focuses on delivering top customer experiences, safety, and program execution at our location.

The M.I.T. will hire, train, and schedule staff, monitor safety, and drive performance through VIP standards, LMS, and vendor training, with regular coaching and meetings.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in automotive service environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and implement solutions.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Solid understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workplace safety and enforce safety policies.
• Learn VIP processes to build an extraordinary team and customer experience.
• Hire and develop associates; ensure LMS and vendor training completions.
• Schedule staff to meet customer needs across all operating hours.
• Communicate effectively via daily huddles and store meetings.
• Train and support 5 for 5 process; educate customers on vehicle conditions.
• Manage dispatching of work orders to technicians per first-available policy.
• Attend off-site meetings and training as needed.
