Job summary

Castle Cars in Naperville, IL seeks an Automotive Lube Technician (Non-Union) to perform service tasks with efficiency and follow dealership guidelines. You will test-drive vehicles, inspect components, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed work.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, dexterity, and good customer service. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, with eligibility for benefits like 401(k) match, health insurance, life insurance, paid time

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills required.
• Good manual dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and follow dealership guidelines.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and follow dealership guidelines
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Non-union Technician Compensation $20-25 per hour
