Castle Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician (Non-Union) in Naperville, IL to join a busy shop with high earning potential. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to maximize hours.

You will perform repairs, diagnose, and service a range of vehicle systems while maintaining excellent customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technician experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• B-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order efficiently and per dealership guidelines.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional needed services.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs and complete warranty work per manufacturer specs.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and follow dealership guidelines
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 2+ consecutive years of technician experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures, and specifications
• Valid driver's license and meetinsurability guidelines

Non-union Technician Compensation $100k-200k per year based on experience.
