Castle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Naperville is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician (Non-Union). You will perform repair order tasks, test-drive vehicles, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services needed.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers if additional services are needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and follow dealership guidelines
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures, and specifications
• Valid driver's license and meetinsurability guidelines

Non-union Technician Compensation $20-25 per hour
