The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a dedicated License and Title Clerk for Napleton Volkswagen of Sanford. This role supports the sales teams by processing vehicle registrations and title work in a fast-paced dealership environment.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour plus a signing bonus up to $3,000 based on experience, along with benefits and growth opportunities within a family-owned group with decades in the business.

Qualificações

• 1-3+ years of License & Title experience; automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with vehicle registration and title processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with sales teams.

Responsabilidades

• Process vehicles for registration in the applicable state.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the DMV.
• Verify funds and lien releases before title processing.
• Check accuracy of applications and complete information.
• Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trades.
• Bill dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin.
• Maintain system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Report status of missing titles to management and comptroller.

Located at Napleton Volkswagen of Sanford,the License and Title Clerk is an important role that assists our sales teams by processing vehicle for registration.

Job Responsibilities:

• Processes all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
• Bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
• Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years+ of License & Title experience PreferredAutomotive Dealership experience
• Knowledge of CDK/ADP Dealer Service system strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
