Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a License and Title Clerk at Napleton's Wyoming Valley BMW in White Plains, NY to support our sales teams by processing vehicle registrations and titles, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of License & Title experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as required by law.
• 18+ years of age or older per policy.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicles for registration in the appropriate state.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit title work to the DMV for processing.
• Verify funds and payoff of lienholders before titles.
• Ensure applications are complete and accurate.
• Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trades.
• Maintain records of outstanding titles and reports.
• Communicate status of titles to management monthly.

Located at Napleton's Wyoming Valley BMW, the License and Title Clerk is an important role that assists our sales teams by processing vehicle for registration. Job Responsibilities:

• Processes all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
• Bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
• Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
• Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of License & Title experience Preferred
• Automotive Dealership experience
• Knowledge of CDK/ADP Dealer Service system strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
