Job summary

Air Squared Manufacturing, LLC is seeking an Automotive Project Manager to coordinate launches from late-stage development through start of production and ramp into high-volume production. You will serve as the primary liaison with automotive customers, lead APQP activities, and ensure milestones and quality requirements are met.

The role requires an engineering degree, automotive background, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must submit resume to be considered.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of project management experience (preferred).
• Automotive background (required).
• Exposure to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Familiarity with Product Development Process.
• Strong communication skills (required).
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between automotive customers and Air Squared during development, launch, and stabilization.
• Manage automotive launch projects from development through production ramp.
• Create and maintain project plans, communicate status, manage risks, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Lead APQP activities and coordinate PPAP submissions and deliverables.
• Coordinate production readiness to ensure smooth transition from development to production ramp.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure required testing is completed per schedules.
• Resolve technical, quality, supplier, and production issues affecting launch and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate engineering changes and keep stakeholders informed of scope/timing/quality impacts.
• Define, assign, and track action items to ensure timely launch deliverables.
• Coordinate transfer of ownership and documentation after stabilization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
