Job summary

Glockner of Ashland in Ironton, OH is seeking automotive mechanics from entry level to experienced technicians to join our team. You will complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards, and perform road tests to verify repairs.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred.
• 1+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Complete pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Mechanical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose problems related to a vehicle's engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC system.
• Take vehicles out on road tests to confirm that a repair has been successfully completed.
• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
• Communicating with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs and timelines
• Other duties assigned based on level of experience
