Job summary

Glockner Chevrolet in Ironton, OH is seeking automotive mechanics from entry level to experienced technicians to join our team. You will complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles to meet dealership standards and take test drives to verify repairs.

We value teamwork, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to quality. ASE certification is preferred, and all hires will pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose problems related to engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC systems
• Take vehicles out on road tests to confirm repairs
• Perform routine maintenance such as fluid checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
• Communicate with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs and timelines
• Other duties assigned based on level of experience

• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes


• Communicating with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs and timelines
