Job summary

Glockner-Chevrolet is seeking automotive mechanics from entry level to experienced technicians to join our team in Ohio. You will complete maintenance and repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards and work with service advisors to communicate repairs and timelines.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of automotive repair experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose problems related to engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC systems.
• Take vehicles on road tests to confirm repairs.
• Communicate with service advisors about diagnosed problems and timelines.
• Other duties assigned based on experience level.

• Diagnose problems related to a vehicle's engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC system.


• Take vehicles out on road tests to confirm that a repair has been successfully completed.


• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes


• Communicating with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs and timelines


• Other duties assigned based on level of experience

Qualifications:

• ASE certification preferred


• 1+ years of automotive repair experience
