Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is hiring a Customer Service Specialist for our Automotive Finishes location in Louisville, KY. This full-time role supports customers, processes orders, and assists with in-store sales and inventory.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with responsibilities that include handling payments, loading deliveries, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse. Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours.
• At least 1 year of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Load and unload products from deliveries.
• Operate all material handling, tinting, mixing and testing equipment safely.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products/services.
• Process sales transactions in the POS accurately and consistently with policies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ensure stockroom is organized and assist with inventory procedures.
• Complete Monthly and Quarterly Safety Training; assist with semi-annual physical inventory.
• Assist in promoting sales specials and initiatives.
• Based on business needs, keyholder duties include opening/closing and nightly bank deposits.
