Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to oversee auto-vehicle service contracts and ancillary products within VSC Operations.

You will lead product marketing, forecasting, and dealer incentive programs to drive profitability and customer loyalty. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with Field, Sales, and Marketing teams across AHM and AHFC, with a focus on strategic program development and senior leadership

Qualifications

• BS or BA in business, preferably marketing, finance, management, or communications.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle service contracts and related products.
• Minimum five years of experience with dealers and vehicle components in an automotive corporate environment.
• Analytical, organized, and skilled in project management.
• Experience with data analysis and using Excel to manipulate data.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and dealer satisfaction targets.
• Lead inter- and intra-company projects and communicate to senior leadership.
• Develop, create, and implement new VSC product strategies.
• Provide support to regional field associates and management.
• Build and maintain dealership relationships and contacts.
• Assist with management of VSC Operations to meet risk and profitability targets.
