Job summary

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization seeking a Controller in North Carolina to oversee the general ledger, budgeting, reporting, and staff supervision within a large automotive services organization.

The role requires 5-7+ years in dealership accounting with 2+ years in a leadership capacity; CDK experience is a plus; strong analytical, communication, and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5-7+ years dealership accounting experience required.
• 2+ years in a leadership role preferred.
• Experience with CDK is a plus.
• Breadth of accounting concepts, principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, issue recognition, and reporting to executives.
• Oversee budgeting, quarterly/monthly closings and reporting.
• Supervise accounting office staff and ensure development.
• Prepare and interpret accurate financial statements and ensure policy conformance.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
