Job summary

Holman seeks a Director - Regional Finance in North Carolina to lead F&I activities across the region. You will partner with GMs to optimize department performance, recruit and develop staff, ensure compliant processes, and manage relationships with lenders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in automotive; 5+ in a leadership role; multiple reporting levels preferred.
• 3+ years in an F&I role at dealership level.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state automotive finance regulations including Red Flags, OFAC and privacy notices.
• Proficient with MS Office and related desktop tools.
• Collaborates with GMs to optimize F&I performance and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Support F&I activity within the region.
• Collaborate with GMs to optimize F&I department performance, focusing on PVR and product penetrations.
• Recruit new staff and minimize turnover in the F&I department.
• Ensure onboarding and training for new hires.
• Assist GMs in evaluating and managing the F&I department.
• Ensure adherence to compliance policies and report violations.
• Stay updated on federal and state regulations affecting automotive finance.
• Ensure all F&I staff are ACE certified.
• Provide regular reporting to General Manager and VP of Finance & Insurance.
• Help with deal closures and resolve issues with contracts in transit.
• Maintain lender relationships and oversee desking practices.
